Dumisani Balman

Founder & CEO

Dumisani started his corporate journey in the 80’s where he worked for one of South Africa’s leading commercial Banks, Standard Bank of SA Ltd in Small Business Finance and Corporate finance divisions. He later joined British American Tobacco heading marketing, distribution and Sales Teams in the Western Cape. He was later touted to join “The World Class Team”, a business re-engineering team tasked with developing new business processes for Swartklip Pty Limited, a division of Denel Limited. Skills reference include finance, deal structuring, Business Development and Banking. He currently seats in the following boards: *Recap Limited, *JHB London Group, Ilizwi Telecoms and Mthombo Resort Group.

Ms. Nolita Kose

Legal & Corporate Services

Nolita is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, a director at MfaziKose Incorporated, she has over 15 years of commercial and criminal justice system, a former deputy president of the Western Cape Black Lawyers Association of Southern Africa. Her legal practice references include practising as a legal aid practitioner, State Law advisor, a member of NHBRC board and a member of several legal professional bodies. She is now responsible for our PPP legal unit, compliancy and legal committee.

Fikiswa Buso

Project Manager

Over 15 years of progressive professional, working experience in both NGO and corporate sector in project and programme management, leading teams in the implementation of complex multi country projects, managing relations and multiple stakeholders. A skilled community driven development process facilitator designing and implementing programs that are context specific, participatory and with gender and rights based approaches.

Nadia Manjate

Senior Manager – Origination and Transacting, Sabela Capital

Nadia Manjate joined Sabela Capital in 2024 as Senior Manager of Origination and Transacting. With extensive experience in trade finance and a focus on agro and mining commodities, she plays a pivotal role in sourcing and executing impactful investments. Before joining Sabela Capital, Nadia was a Trade Finance Transactor at Africa Global Trade Finance Ltd, where she gained in-depth expertise in financial institutions and market strategies. She also served as a Trade Finance Specialist at Euro Exim Bank, leveraging her skills in customer service and market knowledge.

Mnombo Kondile

Deal Executive, Sabela Capital

Mnombo Kondile, Deal Executive responsible for managing the company's aviation portfolio. With over two decades of experience in asset management, financial structuring, and investment strategy, Mnombo brings a wealth of expertise to Sabela Capital’s growing portfolio. Before joining Sabela Capital, Mnombo held various leadership roles within Old Mutual, including Asset Manager for Development Impact Funds at Old Mutual Alternative Investments. In this role, he spearheaded the origination of impactful projects, conducted rigorous due diligence, structured financial models, and prepared investment proposals that aligned with both commercial objectives and developmental goals. Mnombo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town. His analytical mindset, combined with a passion for fostering impactful investments, positions him as a key driver of value creation at Sabela Capital.

Madapu Nhlapho

Associate Deal Executive

Madapu has over 15 years of international experience in project finance and PPP transactions, financial modelling and quantitative analysis, risk analysis and pricing. Experience in infrastructure and project advisory for governments. Madapu’s role in advising on project finance transactions has included the preparation of feasibility studies, business cases, delivery model assessments, project risk analysis, financial modelling, project finance structuring, finance raising, preparation of tender documentation, tender evaluation, project management and negotiations to reach financial close. Over the last 15 years, Madapu has specialized in providing advice to public sector and private sector clients, in the South Africa and internationally, on the procurement, management, structuring and financing of major infrastructure assets, PPP projects and related infrastructure companies. He has advised on, and raised finance for, infrastructure projects of an aggregate investment value of over ZAR 200 billion in a wide range of industry sectors. In the course of providing these services Madapu has developed and delivered extensive knowledge transfer and training programs in project finance management for a wide range of international clients. Madapu has developed key relationships with clients, lenders and investors in the South Africa and internationally and is recognised as a leading expert in his field.
